Your Rights and Protections Against Surprise Medical Bills
Under the federal No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges for services.

-
If you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance, you are entitled to a written estimate of the cost of services before you receive them.
-
You can request a Good Faith Estimate from Williams Counseling at any time.
-
If your bill is $400 or more above the estimate, you may dispute the charges through a formal process.
